hyper text markup language. what most web pages are written in. I think if it's off you can't write html in your posts which is beneficial for say, writting text as a link: Like a link to the profiles forum Or by displaying photos without having to click the thumbnail with the code [img ]www.insertphotourlhere.com[/img ]

why can ti use it? is this only for the mods, vets, ect.?

With HTML on it means that potentially harmful code could be entered into posts and threads. Thats probably why its been turned off.

you should be able to use it. where are you seeing that option?

vB code is ON
Smiles are ON
[IMG] code is on
HTML code is off

oh i see what you're saying. yeah mines off too. probably messy has the best answer as to why b/c you can still use some code in your posts.
