What's better, rye or wheat bread?

All around what's healthier to eat if you were to include some bread in your diet, rye or wheat bread?

They are both similar. Just double check the ingredients to make sure there isn't white flour in the ingredients.

I hate the taste of rye bread but don't mind wheat. Not sure about the nutrition on rye though.

RYE kernels and wheat gluten are the same on the GI...there may be a 3-5 point difference, depending on the product ingredients and % of the grain used.

According to the gi index, rye is better than wheat and multi-grain is better than both.
