Which one should be performed first Incline bench press or flat bench press??Thanks
i'd mixed it up....there isnt a rule.........most of the time its incline for me....but i'll switch
i usually do flat, decline, then incline
i do flat, incline, then decline. ive been told to do the one that you do the least weight with first and go from there, but i dont go by it, dont htink it matters a hellovalot
I do incline first. No reason in particular. Just do.
i switch it up...sometimes i start with flys..sometimes incline..flat..mix it up muscle will be shocked and grow
If your upper is lacking you should prioritize and hit upper 1st imho... other wise just mix it up like others have said
I also switch it up...
Lately I've been doing Flat BB, then Incline DB....
i have always done incline first whether its dumbells barbell or flys
i would think that it depends on which part of chest lags the most...for instance if your upper chest is lagging, then you would do 2 warmup sets of incline presses and then 3 or 4 heavy sets...this is effective because you are fresh and have a lot of strength at the beginning of your workout, rather than hitting a lagging bodypart at the end of your workout when you are at your weakest.
If your incline or decline bench is only a few degrees different in elevation to your flat bench, it doesn't matter what you do first because they are all the same movement. Just like doing 9 sets of normal benchpresses.

i think im going to switch for a few weeks and do incline first just because of this topic, why not
Yep, there is no order.
Flat incline decline... mix it up. you'll be doing each one eventually, so there isnt much of a big deal
