    drink heavily night before drug test for job?

    anyone know if I have any alcohol the night before taking a drug screen for new employment is ok? i won't take the drug screen till 3pm tommorrow. do they only test for illicit drugs and not alcohol? thanks

    What kind of drugs are in your system? One way to pass a drug test is to not do drugs. Go to one of those pipe shops and buy one of those cleansing bottles...
    Or you can drink some cranberryjuice, take niacin.. i think that will help. Cause i know those are good for your body....

    He asked if alcohol will show up. That is all. And it should be out in pleanty of time for your drug test. Drink plenty of water.

    People can still wake up with alcohol in their systems. Depending on the kind of employer you're going in to see... if alcohol show sup in your system, they might see it as you came in to a drug test drunk, obviously not caring for consequences.

    I can see having fun or celebrating, but there is a time and place for everything...


    And i can see makin conversation is fun... but im grouchy as hell because someone irritated me.. im going to stop here....

    Yeah I have even smoked fat one a night before I had to test and if you drink captain morgan through the night then the drugs will not ever show.

    thanks for the serious replies. being holiday season and friends in town, just wondered if i had a few would it matter or not. as for the sarcastic/rude/pointless comments i can't believe you guys waste ur immature breath like that. i have been on this board for about 8 years and the quality has gone down cause of children like you. lets keep things positive so we don't lose good members that actually have knowledge to share.

    the question was somewhat naive, in that someone that is 26-30 (this is assumed) yrs old would know that a "drug test" would not include alcohol..

    but hey, many people are uninformed in these regards..

    so, no, the urine test that you take will not show the consumption of alcohol, but a saliva test will, and might be required at anytime..

    depends on the handbook, and the employer.
