Ample means "enough" or "plenty".

go to hardware store get a triangle file, small, lile around white line in neck of amp and will pop right off. If using amps, always good idea to order a few extra until you get used to opening them.

I use dog nail clippers. They work great for me!

i have opened them with a bic pen cap and a file and with an amp opener... pen cap worked just as good if not better...
