What Dose of T3 inhibits thyroid?

Basically my question is this: At what dose of Cytomel (T3) does it start to shut down endogeneous thyroid production? Is there a threshold level? I remember seeing a reference that anything below 25mcg doesnt shut you down to an appreciable extent but I dont remember where. I know that therapeutic doses range from 5-50mcg. If you could include a reference.

Dr.Evil, one of the Mods here wrote about his GF's experience using only 12.5mcg of T3 a day and he concluded that it supressed her Thyroid 'cuz she rebounded hard after her small/low-dose cycle. Search some of Dr.Evil's posts...

If you don't get a response to this, try to PM Dr.Evil, he will probably have the answer.

What experiences have you of the rebound affect from T3, does tappering off off-set this or is there a risk of rapid weight gain.

Well i rebounded but not to bad, i usually only use any amount of t3 for show prep. so very hard to tell how much rebound is from t3 vs just eating like a pig. But takes about 4 weeks for throid to get back to normal so you do have to watch it a bit, good E/C/A helps.
