    Well the best and cheapest way to get equipment is when a local gym gets new equipment they liquidate all their old equipment dirt cheap. thats how i got my stairmaster.

    and as for free weights, just put a dumbell or two in your bag every time you go in the gym, youll have a bomb workout room in no time!

    nice at home gym man.. would love to have something sweet like that..
    alwayson:
    as for information to tryin to get gym equip cheap... do searches on ebay, sometimes gyms sell older stuff, or if they go under they liquidate it.

    I always think that when I see guy w/huge gym bags walking around. It wouldn't be too hard to take some.

    thats what i do..i'm friends with the gym owner, i've been going to the same gym for about 4 years now..and whenever he gets new equipment he lets me have it for a few bucks..he normally trades it in and the company that picks it up gives him $$$ so i usually give him a little less and it's mine..all my actual weight though he gives moe for free i have a squat rack, leg press pull up/dip station, calve raise machine, bench, incline, and a rack full of dumbells from 10-160 lbs..thanks bob lol

    Thanks for all your comments, But I really want to see some of your set ups.
    Questions;
    Where's the Cardio?.....It is in the next room
    How much did it cost and where can I get stuff cheap?...I started lifting at home about 22 years ago a $ 10.00 bench and plastic weights. All of the blue equipment in the pics I built (cheap) The rest has been stuff I have collected over the years, Birthday, Chritmas presents, work overtime for a month to buy a legg press etc. There is about 10 grand worth of equipment but divide that by 20 years and it's about $500.00 per year. Building a home gym is like bodybuilding, it may not come fast but stick with it and it will come!
