    Steroids and he****g

    Is it true that anabolic steroids can help heal an injured muscle faster? Does it repair tissue quicker?

    depends; on the cellular level, androgens have been shown to increase immune response and decrease he****g times. BUT . . . for joint and tendon injuries, steroids can further aggravate the injury by strenghtening the muscles and the injured tendon/joint cannot keep up, resulting in further injury.
