I was just watching the Live8 cd thats what brought this on. The original members did 4 songs. Comfortably numb", "Money", "Wish you were here", and "time".
Thats one thing a whole generation of Aussies really love ,me included, Pink Floyd and gettn comfortably numb.......

Dude the concert was AMAZING!
They didn't miss a note, key, beat!
I would go see them over and over. Hopefully David Gilmore and Roger Waters can get along so we can ave the real deal again.
Ive seen them 3 times, they probably dont get the sort of respect here they deserve.Great to see them going good there.
Yea we love them in the statesOriginally Posted by HSV

Bro make sure you see the Aussie pink Floyd. They are so good that Roger Waters and David Gilmore frequent their concerts. Just check their website. They travel all over the world.
Huge floyd fan, but i prefer the Syd Barret years... Piper at the Gates of Dawn is amazing..
Some of the best music ever, in my opinion.
i use to like them but now i cant stand them, to fvckin weird of music for me to get into

man i could listen to shine on you crazy diamond forever, have a cigar, fletcher memorial home, ALL OF DARK SIDE OF THE MOON, okay i could literally go on FOREVER so im just gonna stop.
Dark side of the moon was brilliant, as good or better than piper at the gates of dawn.
Nothing besides those two albums really stand out in my mind as "amazing"... good yes, but never fantastic.. Better than most tho. Still a close second to the beatles as best of all time.. followed then by 2pac and sublime as my favourite ever artists..
