    weird use of ****?

Seems like there is some key word list looking to censor words used on the forums by replacing with ****'s. I see "d-e-a-l-i-n-g" cause this to occur all the time. Other words, which aren't vulgar or against board rules are blurred out too. All I am saying is that unless this is fixed to censor only "bad" things and not random stuff, then it needs to be turned off. just my 2 cents.

"****" is a selective scammer. His name has been bleeped out to prevent discussion about him... to prevent newbies from being scammed etc.

Other words which have been bleeped may be racist terms etc.

Because some non-offensice words may be made up in part by offensive terms, such words are offset. e.g. "de****g"

Irritating for you yes... but not random.. nor unnecessary.

I would have to agree. It is annoying but, it is for a reason.

I understand why it's needed, but sometimes I feel like I'm on Wheel of Fortune trying to figure the word out.
