Well since I started a post about the funny crap people do at the gym I thought I would share this "NEW" exercise I saw being performed tonight at the gym:
I call it the Standing Barbell Back Extension -or- Parallel Back extensions
It seems as though the exercise begins with a heavily loaded straight bar on the squat rack. It is very similar to the typical straight bar curl. To begin the exercise you lift the bar off of the rack with a supinated grip. Hold the bar down in front of you with a medium width grip. Begin the movement while curling the bar toward your chest using any muscles necessary to assist you with the movement. When you can no longer raise the bar due to the immense amount of weight, you should lean back as far as possible and continue to curl the bar to your chest. If you can't lean back far enough, let out a loud grunting roar. If the weight is too heavy to begin the movement, it is OK to swing the weight upwards to get it moving!
LMFAO....Actually this is a description of some douchebag that lifts at my gym. He was doing curls in the squat rack and I was laughing so hard I almost pissed myself! Descent size guy but he was really just the short, stocky type who walks around with ILS!!!
