how bad flaxseed oil tastes. i had been using nat pb and olive oil...etc. finally found the natural foods store around the corner and bought some flax oil. holy ahit it tastes like shit. theres got to be another way. nah its not that bad, do yall take it with something else to lighten the taste?

yeah thats what i started with and still have 2/3 of the bottle. the water to wash down 37 of those things at a time fills me up so i cant eat

Initially, I used to hold my breath, drink the flaxseed oil and then have some dextrose. Now I'm used to it.

I have heard something along the lines of if you mix your whey with a liquid for an extended time it will begin to degrade and not be as effective.

The flax I get tastes nutty and is very good.

You may have gotten some bad shit.

Softgels are also NOT a good way to try to ingest your healthy fats.

It's just mind over matter. When i first bought a bottle of flax a few years ago i absolutely hated it and binned it. I now use excatly the same stuff and its ok now. You just have to adapt to the taste.

To be honest I have never found it horrible. Not even first time I drank it. Sure it doesnt taste strawberry but its not repulsive in the same way as eating a can of tuna for instance.

If someone truly cant stand flax oil. Just buy alot of whole flax seeds, grind a assload and eat it(only grind imidietly before consuming it).

i dont think its that bad at all i suppose it is an aquired taste. have you guys ever tried eating it on a bit of romaine lettuce and balsamic vinegar? its yummy! and if you add some chicken or tuna you have a great pro/fat meal.
