I've read that Aussie Strength Coach Ian King always recommends a week off from lifting, after a good cycle of 8-12 weeks.
YES!!! Give your CNS a break for a week..this is very beneficial, but it also means keep cardio to a minimum as well while you are off. It will help you fully recover!!
