Hello all. I'm new here. Name is Steve, I'm 45 and been on Deca Durobulin for a little over a couple years. I receive 300mgs a week along with 200mgs of testosterone. It has helped my body tremendously. It's amazing what that stuff can do.
I workout everyday, at home, not at the gym. Sorry guys, too self-conscious for the gym. Don't have a desire to have a bodybuilder's build....mine is more the gymnastic type. My friends say I should go to the gym and show off what I have, but it's just not me. It hard for me to even wear a tank top in public.
I do some free-weight training, and have a home workout station with everything I could possibly need, but I really prefer the built-in resistance training we all have. The resistance training that has enabled me to achieve the results that I have now.
The only problem I seem to be experiencing is I "pump up" too quick...especially my arms. I go to do my pushups (I use the bars) and my bi's, tri's and forearms pump up so quickly they become rock hard and make it almost impossible for me to use them to lift my weight anymore. I've seen a herniated bicep, and I certainly don't want that to happen. Wondered if anyone else is experiencing anything similar. I can do crunches forever, upper, lower and side obliques, but the arms have been a problem.
I would like to say that right now I am satisfied with my size. I am happy where I am, and just plan to maintain. It's become part of my life now...working out...part of my daily routine. It's as natural to me as brushing my teeth everyday.
I hope to learn from some of the more experienced here and am looking forward to it.
Steve
