It is very easy to rough up the tissue when injecting--especially for those who aren't experienced/comfortable with the process. It is also common for a first-time injection spot to feel sore afterward. Keep an eye on it--most times, these things resolve themselves in a day or so. However, if it continues to get red and hotter to the touch rather than getting slowly better, you could potentially have an infection. You'll want to have it looked at if it doesn't improve.

In the mean time, relax. Chances are it isn't a serious problem. Make certain that you always use sanitary conditions. Don't try to inject the material too fast...take your time. Make sure that you are deep enough into the muscle tissue...that's important.

What size/length needle are you using?

it was 25 g 1 1/2 needle maybe im just making a big deal out of nothing . i hope so also it took about 10 sec for the injection after aspiration that should be substantial time for 1 1/2 cc

That all sounds okay. You're probably right, chances are it's nothin to worry about. I've had lots of sore spots that have resolved after a while.

Its also a good idea to masage the area after an injection. That helps to disipate the oil. You might try rubbing the area vigorously for a while. If you have pooled up oil, that may still help to move it and get it dispersed.

    Keep us posted.

I hit a nerve or something in my quad the other day. My quad was swollen and sore as f*ck for 4 days then started getting much better. I was limping around for a while. It was also warm to the touch but the swelling is nearly gone and its getting better. I'm always clean and I'm fairly experienced with the needle. I just think that sometimes these things happen to the best of us.

The price of doing business! Keep clean during injection..wash before you inject, use alcohol to clean the site...stay at a 90 degree angle...your injections hould be fine.
