I have done them before. It minimizes cheating by using the lower back to assist.Originally Posted by axemurderer187
Rows are the best for preventing forward shoulders but rear delt flyes are a good supplement exercise.
thanks papi, is that what this is called..."rear delt flyes"??Originally Posted by Papi93
Incline rear delt flyes, I believe.Originally Posted by axemurderer187
Never done them before. I suppose rear delts get worked enough on back day. I know for the opposite, front delts, get worked plenty on chest day. My front delts are sore as hell today after doing chest on Monday.
I don't think that most people over work the rear delts. They spend so much time working the muscle groups they can see in a mirror (bodybuilders traditionally), that they neglect the posterior chain. Athletes with a good strength and conditioning program would be more likely to run this risk.Originally Posted by chest6
totally agree pop
lots of dudes don't hit legs and muscles they don't see in the mirror and don't do excerses to improve posture.
I do everything in power to prevent "forward shoulders".. Stretching the rotator is key. Always stretch rotator everyday!
I love working legs honestly. Papi you think its a good idea to do 3 sets or so for rear delts say on back day?
That's where I would place them. I know many train the anterior, medial, and posterior delts on the same day but I prefer training my posterior delts with my horizontal pulling movements (rows, etc.).Originally Posted by chest6
