    Creatine......Diminish potential gains?

Does using Creatine prevent/diminish the growth of Solid Muscle mass? I am unable to find anything on this........

Ultimately, ones goal is to build solid "real" muscle. Are those using creatine preventing themselves from maximizing their potential results?

You will grow fake muscle on creatine??? This should be posted in the supplement forum. Creatine isnt preventing any muscle growth, it facilitates it.

creatine will help you gain SOME stamina and strength which would facilitate growth, you might put a few pounds on after loading but that would be water, creatine saturates the muscle tissue and in paticular the skeletal muscles draw in water(thus the increase in size/weight)making them stronger and reduce injury risk.

Posted it there........No replies. I am about 20 days off cycle and having been using minimal doses of creatine. I am going to the gym in about 20 minutes, so I wanted some quick feedback. I hit the ceatine before my workout ..........

But does this water reduce or increase the muscles ability to grow? The reason for my asking is I read creatine can actually minimize gains you would have acheived had you not been on it........Kind of spooked me.

5 years? damn. Ok over that amount of time, how much did you gain above and beyond the 6 lbs you lost?

i loved creatine when i was on it,it gives you an edge.but i dont think you get any extra gains when you take it.i weighed 160lbs 5 years ago now im 200lbs (natural upto now)but i would not put any of that down to creatine just diet and hard work, people have been on it for a lot longer than me,all i can say is take plenty of water with it so you dont dehydrate otherwise you could be looking at cramps etc.
