OTC anti-estrogens superior to nolvadex, clomid?

In MD's march, 05 issue, Dave Palumbo says that otc product like Gaspari nutrition's "novedex extreme" and other products containing Dianestrozole are better then drugs like nolvadex? He reasons, "since these new legal suplements actually inhibit the anti-aromatase enzyme system, they are far superior to Nolvadex (in men; p. 276)." Nolvadex, by contrast, blocks estrogen. Are you skeptical of this claim?

He's probably sponsored/paid to say things like that by these "OTC Anti-Estrogens" Companies.

This is what I'm wondering. On the page following his colomn is a Gaspari Nutritian advertisement for novedex extreme. If he is actually plugging for Gaspari in his colomn, what a jerk. He does, however, mention that kilosports carries something similar so he atleast mentions two products.

These ATD products are simply weaker cousins of aromasin. Stick to the good stuff. The ATD products are steroidal aromatase inhibitors. They do not stop aromatase enzyme production. He's wrong. They simply bind to that enzyme and do not release until that molecule is excreted. Thereby "suicidal aromatase inhibitor".
