    Dextrose and IGF...

    Bros,

    About to start my first LR3 cycle.
    I went today and picked up a couple pounds of pure dextrose for my PWO shake.
    One problem...I'm unsure of how many g's of dex to consume in that PWO shake, and I am also unsure of what to include in that shake? This sounds stupid, but I don't know any better, hence me asking you guys for advice. I'd rather not include it in my regular PWO protein shake, as it's sweet enough as is, and I assume the dex would make it too sweet.
    If someone with experience can, please let me know approx. how many grams to consume (given that I will only be using 40mcgs IGF on work-out days only), and what kind of liquid I should mix the dex with to make that PWO shake.

    If you want some favor with the dex add some kool-aid unsweetened of cource.

    i wouldn;t worry about counting dex. grams if just on igf.

    i've been taking 80 igf every day before my workout with a dex-creatine drink and have not seen anything to resemble hypo. just make sure you eat some carbs and protein after working out.

    Keep in mind that this will vary amongst everyone. I can take 100mcg with minimal carbs and never feel anything that even slightly resembles Hypo.

    I do have to say that I know people that with 40mcg they have to drink an ultra fuel or else hypo sets in rather quickly. It's all based on the individual...........

    i guess you are right. on insulin i ofcourse count them and go by the book. i usually take it before my workout to maximize my pump. but even taking before my workout is supposed to be riskier. with igf i don't hypo what so ever. i think that it is just weird. i guess just get your pwo on and don't worry about it.
