    Liver toxicity- Credible article

i was reading a rather extensive article- one which sounds to be written with a generally unbiased approach (By a M.D.) on AnabolicTruth.com.

I got concerned when i read how Anadrol is a very toxic steroid, and how it can lead to liver tumors, etc.

This paragraph was the most concerning:

The most toxic of these 17-alpha alkylated steroids are Anadrol,
methyltestosterone, and Halotestin in that order. These three mass
building steroids are highly prized by bodybuilders for the
incredible and immediate increases in muscle size and strength
produced by these very androgenic and highly anabolic steroids.
Anadrol is the most toxic and dangerous of the three. Grossly
noticeable jaundice, yellow eyeballs and skin indicating liver
damage can occur with only three to six weeks of use depending on dose.

I am wondering just how concerned i should be- this just seems to get me worried. What dosages would be needed to attain such bad side effects? Would 100mg be an excessive amount......i know some people here suggest higher doses than that.

I stick with 100 or less and have yet to see any of those sides. Not saying that anadrol is healthy, because for your liver it can be pretty harsh. Just take the correct precautionary measures.

remember this- i've heard you need to take more anadrol to get the effects that dbol will give you at a higher dose

ex. to get the effect of 60mg of dbol, you may have to take 120mg of anadrol.......i can attest to this personally, i have gotten excellent results off a lower dose of dbol (50mg)....comparable to a higher dose of anadrol (but i get more bloat with dbol)

Note that mg for mg, anadrol is more toxic than dbol, and since you need to take more anadrol, this may be why it is more toxic...

I think you may have stated that last sentence wrong. From what I have read, mg. for mg. d bol is stronger than anadrol therefore the higher doses of anadrol and higher liver toxicity.

that is what i meant to say..... My bad!

mg for mg, anadrol and dbol has the same toxicity.

But since higher doses of anadrol are needed of anadrol than dbol.....this is why anadrol is more toxic

That is what i meant to say

Reading your post, I thought that is what you were trying to say. Just didn't want someone to catch that last sentence and think otherwise.

so i guess from this conclusion, we could deduce that dbol is better to use....

The problem with dbol for me though is all of the water retention. I really don't like it at all. The anadrol doesn't do this, i have used each anadrol and dbol once before.

It may be possible to take O/T though to avoid the water retention.....mg for mg it is as effective as dbol without the water retention, but, it is more expensive.

I can't quote on O/T because I have never used it but am excited to try it.

I seem to get a bit more bloated off of d bol normally also, but I think it depends on how my diet is at the time that I am running it.

Normally I am running anadrol during pre contest dieting and I don't retain that much water. But I normally run d bol in the off season when I am not eating as clean, so it can be hard to say which is retaining more water.
