Hopefully you guys can help.
I've been cooking up several batches, and I decided to bake the last one.
After about 20 mins at 200 degrees I noticed it was darkening, so I took it out. About 50cc's 100mg/ml in a 100ml vial w/ rubber stopper. I figured I might need to ventilate it, so I stuck a pin through the stopper and out shot tons of gas and the fina started boiling?!!? The house reeked of fina, which was pretty cool, but I am curious as to whether or not I lost any hormones in the process? I read baking it would maximize the hormones, but why is that?
Any help at all would be appreciated.
