    clueless

    Ok, here's the deal! I am doing a competitioin in August and right now I am doing a pre-comp trial run diet. I have been following the beverly cutting diet and not seeing any results. It has been two weeks on the cutting diet and I have gained a pound. Also, what type of cardio should I be doing and how often. Right now I am at eight weeks out. Any advice would be great.

    post up your current diet and training.. and i think ppl will better be able to guide you.. including supplements

    meal 1: 1/2 grapefruit, 4oz lean meat, 3 egg whites, 1 yolk
    meal 2: 2 scoops protein, 16oz water
    meal 3: 6 oz lean meat, 2 cups vegetables, or 2 cup salad w/oil & vinegar dressing
    meal 4: 2 scoops protein, 16oz water
    meal 5: 6 oz lean meat, 2 cups vegetables, or 2 cup salad w/ oil & vinegar dressing

    On monday and thursday for my fifth meal: 1 cup rice cooked, or 1 cup oatmeal before cooked, 1 cup vegetables, 4 oz bananna, 4 oz sweet potatoe

    i drink a gallon of H2O a day, lift 4 days a week, and cardio 5 days-3 days high intensity for 25 minutes (HR 160-179), 2 days lower intensity 45 minutes (HR 145-150)

    this is my diet, lifting regimen, and cardio.
