A Routine in need of CRITIQUES!!

    How does this routine look?

    Monday: Shoulders, Foremarms, Abs, Plyo's
    Tuesday: Legs, Calves
    Wednesday: Chest, Abs, Plyo's
    Thursday: Rest
    Friday: Back, Calves, Plyo's
    Saturday: Triceps, Biceps, Abs

    8 weeks long.

The workouts will be comprised of mostly compound exercises...deads, squats, rdl's, bench, row, military press and clean n' press. The goals of this routine are to add strength, lean mass and speed.

My current stats are 6'2" 172 lbs @ 8% bodyfat with a 4.71 sec forty and a 2.69 sec twenty. Bench max is 190, squat max is 315, dead max is 330, and my hang clean max is 245 lbs.

Thanks in advance for the critiques, guys, it is much appreciated!

I would combine forearms and biceps and put them on Tuesdays...
then you could move your friday calves to saturday, and put more emphasis on your back. my track coach always notes that lower back has a whole lot more to do with speed than anyone thinks. i sprint for team Indiana.
another exercise we do it a squat thrust but when you come out of the pushup position back to your feet, you explode and jump, land in a comfortable stance and keep going. really adds to explosive speed and power.

    So,

    Monday: shoulders, abs, plyos
    Tuesday: legs, calves, forearms, biceps
    Weds: chest, abs, plyos
    Thursday: rest
    Friday: back, plyos
    Saturday: triceps, biceps, calves, abs

what excercises do you recommend for lower back? so far i have: rdl's, hang clean, deadlifts, and cable rows. what about back extensions?
