Does dairy make your muscles soft? I was told that by a friend. Interesting. any thoughts?

i've heard it makes you appear soft, but i don't know if it actually makes the muscles soft.. if that makes sense
How exactly would dairy accomplish that?
some people get bloated from it due to some intolerances...i have been using yogurt and cottage cheese lately and have not noticed a huge difference.
I stay away from it personally because it gives me a "soft look." I never thought for a second that it acually makes me soft. For me, it adds a layer of water that is pretty noticlible, that takes away the cut.Originally Posted by rastling1
A friend of mine eats lots of dairy and is cut as hell. I think it really varies by each person or by some additional factor about which I do not know.
I tolerate dairy very well, i drink 2 cups of skim a day and i never have a problem at all. again the stereotypical answer would be "do what works best for you" lalala you get it...
I believe I have a slight intolerance...but not all dairy has lactose...I eat block cheddar(tired of saying that) and it contains 0g lactose...
Newkid, why don't you tell us that you eat block cheddar...
I think Im gonna go get some right now...
cheese that is![]()
no it doesnt
any liquid you retain will make you look 'soft' through water retention under improper dieting
