Anybody know which will bring faster results for a person just starting training? once a week, twice a week, or three times a week for each body part. Also be descriptive on how many sets for each body part, and etc.

once a week, make sure to train hard. Don't make the mistake i made when i started training years ago by doing the same workout each time
Once a week is the most optimal for most people.. keep intensity up - work out - in and out.. just rem keep your diet in check bc w/o that the results will be dissapointing..
it all depends on your recovery time, if you are on gear , your age, for me, as a powerlifter, i find one time a wk is plenty, i know alot of BBers who do 2 days and i know quite a few that do 1 day, trial and error, see what works for you
As far as sets and reps are concerned it depends on your goals....
i think once a week is the best because if you go for twice i always find myself holding back in fear of overtraining for the next workout. once a week alows you to go all out knowing you have a full week to recover
