    REVAMPED Bulk.....

COme to the conclusion after 3+ weeks that my clean bulk just isn't working for me. I'm up a lb or 2 then down.....I have been going mod fat and carbs with high protein. I neixed the am cardio other than a 20 min. walk/jog with my dog before breakfast. Then I just incline walk at 3.5 on 9% for 20 minutes post workout. I might need to nix that too or switch to 3-4 times a week. My new diet will include some subway, some more breads, maybe a cheat day 2x a week. At 6'0 and 179, I'm just too damn frail. Lean, but frail.

try adding some more fats in the diet. Throw some olive oil into your shakes and add nuts or fruit betwen meals.

This is what it's been for 4 weeks.........

20 minutes run/walk with dog at 5:00am around neghborhood to get blood flowing and allow dog to urinate on neighbors yards.

    6:00am
    1/4 cup steel cut oats
1/3 cup rolled oats (sometimes switch to Oat bran)
    1 cup egg whites
1/2 scoop protein with 1/2 cup carb less skim milk
20 blueberries, some rasberries and strawberries and a few blackberries in oats.........HEAVEN
    1/2 cup skim

    9:00
250g (1/2 small tub) dry curd cc - 45g pro
1/2 cup ezekiel granola (low fat, zero sugar!)
    10 peanuts, 10 almonds
sf jello and fiber one sprinkled on top
    green tea

    noon
6-8 oz lean beef and chicken
    LARGE salad with veggies
    6oz yam

    3pm
    1/2 cup oats
    1 scoop whey
    tea

    500pm train

    630
    2 rice cakes
1 scoop celtech (free 8 tubs)
    45g of whey

    845 (in bed, lol)
muscle milk shake in skim or casein shake
couple spoon full dry curd with sf jello
    10-20 almonds, walnuts, peanuts

    immidiately after = bed.

Well, no change in body composition and strength is stagnent....maybe its training 6 days a week, but I;ve knocked it down to 45 minutes train, 20 minutes incline walk on treadmill. Also add a 25 minute stationary bike cycle to my fasted cardio repetoi...maybe I need to nix it?

Are my fats adequate? Carbs? Should I change meal #2 to pro/carb with granla and cc or leave in the nuts?

are you gaining strenght right now? If you are gaining strenght but not weight I would say you are a bit low on kcal.

What is your total protein, carb and fat over the day??

All the american messurements oz ect doesnt say much to be to be honest so I dont have the slightest clue on how much that means in kcal ect

HMM....never really counted cals, as it's pretty hard given a handfull of "stuff" here and a handfull there. I.E. nuts, I just grab a few....berries, 20-30, + splenda by the gallon and sf gum - all have cals but not anal enough to count. I've just taken my maint. diet and added 500-700cals to it. Prob. around 3,300 cals.
