you could buy a caliper or a impedance scale. But to use the first properly you need to know exactly how to and I dont trust the impedance scales
You can make body measurements and google body fat calculators, these will produce approximations of your body fat. They are just approximations, but better than nothing.
thanks see what i can do ill prob just got to a trainer
i absolutely agree with the BIA sucking (bodyfat impedance analysis) kept showing 23% bf than i figured out it was actually around 12/13% i just got the calipers off ebay for 10 bucks with shipping and suppose to be real accurate. bia i believe is only accurate when you drop some serious cash for a good make.Originally Posted by johan
I use the calipers also, but only to measure progress for they seem to be pretty consistant if nothing else.
yeah neva I think the most important thing with doing caliper test it to se that the bodyfat is going down. Not so much what the exact bodyfat level is.
bojang I remember first time I used a impedance scale. Me and my buddy tried it. I was chubby and he was ripped to shreds with solid abs. It said I had 18% bodyfat and claimed he had 23%![]()
Some help.....
