    100% powdered Egg whites..is it good subsitute?

    Hey guys...i was at the health store picking up some stuff for my cutting diet...

    and i noticed this tub of 100% egg White powder...its vanilla flavored...zero fat and zero sugar...about 30grams of protein per 3/4 scoop and a CRAP load of stats about the stuff it has in there...ill post the actually nutrition when i get back home from work

    i was told i have ALOT of whey protein and shakes in my cutting diet (posted in another thread)

    its pretty good tasting with my shake...another chocolate and vanilla kinda throws the taste off...

    but can i subsitute my 6 eggs for this Egg white power?


    PS, im actually a small eater...just get bored and snack alot soo 1/2 cup of oats and protein drink usually fill me up...i actually about to puke i was soo full this morning after chuggni my shake.

    BTW I just started my diet today!

    I think i saw your diet plan with all the whey. The point being made was not the quality of protein contained in whey (it's great protein) but that it is processed, so your body doesn't have to do anything to it to absorb it. That is why it's great post workout. However, it is metabolically advantageous to eat real food that your body has to work to digest, not to mention healthier. Just because this protein shake is derived from a different source is not going to cut it. no, don't substitute this for real food!
