    How did I gain 13lbs in five days?

    I've been dieting for 4 months and went from 220lbs to 189lbs. At 1850 Calories per day, I was losing about 2 lbs per week.

    I needed a break and wanted to put some muscle back on so I started a cycle of Halodrol 50. I started creatine at the exact same time and changed my calories to 3900 per day.

    400 grams protein
    400 grams Carbs
    75 grams fat

    I weighed:

    189 One day before the cycle
    191 Start Day
    190.2 Day 2
    194.6 Day 3
    197.0 Day 4
    202.2 Day 5...........up 13lbs

    Now, I know it's way too soon for it to be fat or muscle. I don't look or feel bloated. My calipers still read the same.

    Am I just holding more nutrients and/or water? Is this type of weight gain common?

    Creatine makes you hold lots and lots of water its probally just water weight. Also, as you probally know your weight can vary like 5 pounds throughout the day depending on time of day, time of meals, etc. compared to when you weigh yourself. So maybe thats it. I'd say its all the water that your holding from the creatine. I do not know much about creatine thoguh.

    what exactly is Halodrol 50??

    Id say its water weight.

    thats alot of water tho!a pound a day seems good to me but ur gains are awesome. halodrol doesnt convert to estrogen so it cant be water from that and 13lbs of water from creatine is a lot!

    I gain a solid 8ibs from a cheat day or when I quit cutting alone so another 5ibs from creating does sound plausible

    damn 8 lbs in a cheat day johan?! thats crazy! i wish i could gain that fast!! dirtydog weigh urself in the morning right when u wake up everyday. then see what happens

    I sometimes get so bloated that I have to remove my socks cause they cut into my ankles.

    I think that jumping from 1800 cals a day to 3900 may have something to do with the gain more so than the halodrol.

    I wake up every morning, take a leak and then weight myself. The weights above were all morning weights.

    Todays weight: 201

    Thanks for the input. It's got to be all water and dieting whiplash. I guess 13lbs isn't unreasonable.

    i put on 8 pounds i think in like 7-9 days of halodrol

    Water. I gained 12lbs in 5 days too..water...no supps at all in that either..pure food

    I feel better, thank you. That much water weight didn't seem normal to me.

    Now, when do I start counting pounds as muscle?

    1 cheat day = 20lbs for tai.. sodiumis like 12grams so water rentention is like 2.5 gal

    your body was running on very low calorie intake and then you shot up to 3900 calories a day. Your bodies metabolism speed up and then all food jump was packed on fast

    after all the water you gained slows..and if you look down and you dont appear to be gaining fat

    I weighed 205 lbs this morning. So I figure after the 13 lbs of water, I have now put on 3lbs of non-water weight.

    the whole thread explains how he is replenishing glycogen levels/gaining fat/holding water...he just finished cutting so this isnt uncommon..

    Same scale, every time: Weight Watchers Scale with the metal plates for bodyfat%. The bodyfat% part of the scale is a joke but the weight part of the scale is great. And the scale at the gym has moved the same distance.

    I still got time............i'm on a LMG cycle for now........after what i'm gonna get back for few weeks on Noxplode/nitrix or Supercharge maybe.......i guess i'm the only asshole bulking up during summer
