    6 weeks too lean up

I just got notice today that I have to take some photos for a magazine in 6 weeks. I read a few of the dieting regimines from the stickys above but wanted to get some more advice.

Would Clen help me achieve a tighter look faster?

Whats the best way to get the water out of my body? Lasix?

I am running around 7.0-7.5% bodyfat yr around. I need to take it alittle further. I dont feel like I have to go to crazy with the diet or cardio but I need some input. I average 25 minutes 4 days a week on the treadmill in my target zone currently.

I enclosed a picture as well

    Ideas?

Looking great bro. You should be very proud. I would up the cardio to 45-60 minutes 5-6 times a week if your wanting to lose that extra fat. Plenty of water too. What does your diet look like bro?

yeah you definately lok good, post your diet for a few critiques and up the cardio as the old Matrix auggested. with a tight nit diet and upping the cardio i would assume you could drop a little in 6 weeks. have you looked into high intensity cardio? maybe do a search and see if you might be interested...

upping the cardio...adjusting your diet and running clen will in fact 10 fold ur results to date.

keeping in mind that clen is anti catabolic and with a restricted diet and increased cardio...your gonna want that anti catabolic property

stay away from those...alotta of useless calories and fat. Yes do cardio in the am on an empty stomach.

maybe 5 grams of glutamine with water to spare muscle.

I really try to eat a diet of things that are easy to maintain. I eat clean mainly;eggs, chicken, filet, pork and assorted protien shakes as well as oatmeal and nutrigrain bars for cravings. I have been eating cheese and yogart which I will drop and replace with a protien source.

I will up the cardio for sure, ill take it to 40-45 minutes.

I have lasix but havent tried it to see where it puts me. I would never rely on it but it could be a nice fix just before the shoot to get that extra water out.

I always take Detour bars throughout the day. Whats the opinion of these while cutting?

    Recommendations?

lasix before the shoot will take a good 5 + pounds off you. You have be very careful with diruetics bud...you can die...as i am sure you know.

any processed bars are usually not a good idea.

a simple shake with oats is gonna be ur best bet.

    werd.

If that is you in the picture pal.... Seems you know how to take care of yourself.. Your questions puzzle me however..

My suggestions are these.. Get a darker tan to show off your body better.. Tighten up your diet.. 6 weeks you should be good to go ... I would follow more of a pre-contest diet 6 weeks out... and just assume the photo shoot is the contest.. which will mean playing with your water intake and such ... if you need help on this ... We are here to help !!!

    Good Luck

    Great info here guys.

Backround, I have been very serious about my body for the last 10yrs. Its a 4-5 days per week regimine for me. I love it to death. Keeps me sane. I am 170-172lbs right now and 5ft 8 or 9.

I will enclose a few more shots of myself for the ones in question. What would the precontest diet look like?

I have a very good regimine, I am just looking to fine tune it. I really am lean but I am holding water/puffiness and I need to be able to get rid of this. This is why I thought of using the lasix.

Does anyone know the best way to use it? I have researched it and would like to hear it from those who have experience. I thought I would start out with 10mg in the am and another 10 mid afternoon for 2 days before the shoot. I will supplement potassium and drink pleanty of water. Does this sound accurate?

definately up that cardio to 6-7 days a week for 40-45 mins. also id drop carbs besides post workout. as far as the dairy thing goes leave the milk out but if your gonna go low carb you can have full fat cheese because not only is it a complete protein and carb free but when you drop carbs you need to have more fat, but try to keep most of your fat intake in the form of good fats such as flax. also something that people seem to overlook is the fact that water itself is a good diuretic. so keep your water intake up and add lemon juice to it as well because it is said to tighten up skin. the clen wouldnt hurt , but be careful.

you should see results in a week...some changes at least

after 3 weeks of 5 day at 45min aweek and a fine tuned diet..then...it should give you a good way to fine tune.

I'd say if anything...thats abit much cardio....you dont wanna strip off too much muscle.

are you on gear? if so what type? dose? etc

if you really wanna do it right...lay out ur diet.

swolecats 7 day is off his site somewhere...find a post of his...go thru his signature...its bound to be in there somewhere.

Bro, I think you look great, I'd love to have a torso like yours (i'm working on it!) Have you thought of perhaps a KETO diet if u get stuck at a plateau? (kinda like contest prep, but not sure how the fats will be if you are that close to a shoot, i'd get some vets to chime in on a ckd before u do it, just a thought)

  31. #31
I believe its gonna be for mens fitness or mens workout mags. I will know more in the next week or so. I am not at a platue, but I have never needed to push it further then where currently am.

I am not on gear so its harder for me to keep the lean muscle while leaning. Just got back to the store and bought a ton of lean red meat and chicken some jello and oatmeal plus brown rice. I am using canned veggies but I rinse the shit out of them to get rid of some of the sodium. I am using all of the info from these posts so I will keep you guys updated on the progress. The shoot is in May so I have time.

Thanks alot for the info, again.

dont even do the keto diet. you still need carbs pwo if you are cutting. keto is horrible. youll be paper thin if you do some of the things i said earlier as well as what everyone else has said. if you do this solid for a month and not miss that cardio or workouts youll be not only lean as hell but your not going to loose any noticeable muscle mass if any at all as long as you keep your post workout carbs.

JDH, I am on it bro, thanks
