    Eggs and cholesterol

    I have heard that eggs are high in cholesterol and I've heard that there not, whats the deal? quick and easy protein but dont wanna overdue it especially when heart disease is a problem in my family.

    You need to make sure Cholesterol is a problem in your family. Dietary Cholesterol has little effect on ones total Cholesterol. Cholesterol levels are determined by your genetics.

    if you worry about cholesterol b vitamins can take care of it without a problem.

    Yolks hold a majority of the cholesterol in eggs too...

    yes high cholesterol is a problem in my family, so i need to take b vitamins? oh ya can u drink winny? jk

    im no expert on cholesterol but i think ive read that food is not the actual cause of cholesterol it is more your genetics.

    it is more of a genetic thing, but if you have the genetics for high cholesterol...eating foods that are high in it isn't smart... in any case, you are right.

    very interesting.. ive been told by almost every1 how eggs were bad and to only use eggwhites.. i just throw in 1 or 2 whole eggs with 6 egg whites

    basically this can be seen as precautionary for teh most part, there is quite a bit of nutritional value to the yolk especially in regards to folate....that is if your body can afford it...

    Eggs

    Arnold says alot of the nutrition in the egg comes from the yolk so eat it unless you are worried about your cholestrol. You seem to be worried so stick with whites only. Arnold is always right.

    yeah b vitamins are very good

    run:
    5-10mg of folic acid
    300-600mcg of vitamin B12
    300-500mg of vitamin B6
    500mg niacin

    throw in vitamin c at 5-10 grams aswell
