    Has any one done this

Has any one done this, loose weight and at the same time gain mass. What i mean is can a person loose 30 lbs of fat and at the same time gain 30 lbs of muscle. I always hear you have to do thing at a time , but it seems to me as you gain mass you burn calories at a higher rate helping drop fat. Dose that make any sense?

unless you are Kevin Levrone it wont happen. Maby if you are a beginner with weights and go on the juice when dieting.

you need a positive calorie balance to gain muscle and a negative calorie balance to lose fat. Only under extremely special circumstances can anyone gain mass while losing fat.

well it can happen. Just look at kevin levrone. he bulks and cuts at the same time. But it is 90% muscle memory and 10% shitloads of juice

but for any regular joe not doing any crazy cycles you can not gain any muscle while cutting. You can gain quite a bit of strenght however.

Don't do it man....anytime you bulk you're gonna get fat first, then shred it down. I would think that if you tried to get big and slim at the same time then you would definitely hinder your gains, just depends on what you wanna do more.....be patient and do it right, get your size first then shape it

yah, it's pretty impossible. Still, when I bulk (like now) I feel fat and gross. But then it's all worth it when i cut. so yah, bulk then cut.

30 lbs of fat loss and 30lbs of muscle gain at a time is impossible. thoug you can reduce fat mass and gain lean mass at the same time, just not that much. i reduced my bodyfat % by like 10% last year and at the same time increased my lean mass by like 5lbs.
