    Noob needs a little guidance

    Hi im 6'4 n currently 193lbs... i have a lean body type and my muscle comes in very defined.. meto is high and my work out routine is intense im at the gym 7 days a week sometimes 8. However i feel my diet is somewhat lacking and i wanna put on some mass, my longterm goal is 230 but i wanna make that as shorterm as possible haha.. im also currently in week 6of a 800mg/wk test e cycle. here is my diet.

    7-10am
    oats
    1 scoop whey

    11-1pm
    10 eggs scrambled
    2 beef pattys

    2-5pm
    2 scoop whey w/creatine
    gym
    2 scoop whey

    4-6pm
    pasta w/chicken and eiher bufalo meat or steak

    9-1am
    either pasta chicken with some red meat if i didnt eat it all
    or 10 scrambled eggs with either beef patty or some bacon ... love bacon lol even tho not the best for u

    that is my current diet... using all the foods i normally buy.. what i was wondering if anyone could fill me in on exactly how much should i be eating? measuring food to me is unheard of.. right now i just eat AS MUCH as i can.. a few times to the point where i puked afterwards trying to put my whey down after the meal lol..

    i just feel my gains will be much better if i know exactly how much i MUST eat each day.. cause some days i admit im not to faithful to this diet..but for hte most part i am.. if anyone could help re arange this for me to put to better use i would LOVE that..

    and yeah im gonna start using natural fats in each of my meals starting today.

Are you doing cardio? If so, I suggest you only do a maximum of 2 days of low intensity cardio per week for no more than 30 minutes. I would only train 3-4 days a week if you are looking for mass. Look at the training sticky in the training forum...HIT is a good program.     oats How much oats?? I woudl have at least 1-1.5cups, aybe add soem fruit as well
    1 scoop whey I would have solid food in the morning. 8 or so eggwhites with a couple whole eggs would do

    11-1pm
    10 eggs scrambled
    2 beef pattys No need for all this protein in one sitting, I would spliut this up between two meals and add complex carbs such as brown rice, yams, or oats to both meals. And 10 egg yolks is wayyy too much fat for one sitting as well.

    2-5pm
    2 scoop whey w/creatine
    gym
    2 scoop whey Add carbs here!!! Carbs are EXTREMELY important post workout!!! I can not emphasize this enough

    4-6pm
    pasta w/chicken and eiher bufalo meat or steak Looks good

    9-1am
    either pasta chicken with some red meat if i didnt eat it all
    or 10 scrambled eggs with either beef patty or some bacon ... love bacon lol even tho not the best for u Looks ok besides all the bacon

    I would add at least one more meal, maybe two for a total of 6-7 per day, high calorie meals. I would have lots of protein 60 grams per meal, with 60 or so grams of carbs per meal as well, I woudl also add a tbs of olive or flax oil to every other meal as weel (except for post workout) THis will help you get the cals up there.

    that is my current diet... using all the foods i normally buy.. what i was wondering if anyone could fill me in on exactly how much should i be eating? measuring food to me is unheard of.. right now i just eat AS MUCH as i can.. a few times to the point where i puked afterwards trying to put my whey down after the meal lol.. Keep working your way up...you are not eating enough as of right now. You should be getting at least 3000-3500 cals in per day of mostly whole foods.

    i just feel my gains will be much better if i know exactly how much i MUST eat each day.. cause some days i admit im not to faithful to this diet..but for hte most part i am.. if anyone could help re arange this for me to put to better use i would LOVE that.. Check out the bulking sticky, you can almsot use that to a "T" becuase you are close to the stats of the person used in the example. I believe the person in the example is 220lbs and you are around 200, so even better, you will have an excess of calories.

    and yeah im gonna start using natural fats in each of my meals starting today.

    ok thanks spound i appreciate that ALOT ill follow your tips exactly like you've said.. and i have looked at that bulking thread before, but alot of french to me.. ill take another look at it today and really sit down to get a better vantage point of my diet.

    About the working out 3-4 days a week.. i seriously dont think i could do that. im addicted i ABSOLUTELY HATE not going to the gym..

    isnt 1 day on one day off for each muscle group ok? especially when on juice cause your muscles repair that much faster..

    and to answer your question im 19 and yea i know lil too early for me to be juicin i shoulda waited till i was 200-210.. but you know how it is lol

    spound hit the nail on the head. even on gear bro training with weight 7 times a week is overtraining. if you want to bulk only hit each muscle once a week. and i mean hit it hard with heavy weights and intense training. i know you will feel like thats no enough but it is. your muscles grow from rest. go to the bulking sticky and go down to th excel spreadsheet. put in your stats and then find your stats for your body and then find out how many calories you need to bulk, and since your on test up those calories maybe 300 or so. hit those calories and not with junk food with good foods. healthy fats, lean protein, and mainly low gi carbs with the exception of post workout. also no more then 3 cardio sessions a week. and stop the obsession over working out every day, thats your main fault.

    alright but im not looking to do no lee priest bulk or anything even close.. i wanna stay toned while also gettin bigger.. just wanna hit 230 reaaaal bad... but again i apprecaite your input.. ill give each muscle group more rest then i have been

    well since you have a high metabolism i wouldnt expect you to gain much fat especialy if you keep your foods clean. also your going to need tbose extra calories just because of the test. other wise there is no point in doing it. also is this your first experience with gear? if so i think 800mg a week is pushing it. i did my first test cycle at a weight of 240 and i only did 500 a week and that was plenty.

    not my first cycle no.. i did a cycle of cyp a yr ago at 500mg/wk for 10 weeks.. 2 months after cycle didnt stopped working out for a bit due to work and lost some of my gains.. managed to keep some tho from dieting and my job was physcially damanding..

    you aren't going to stay as cut as you are now after bulking, but thats why there are methods to burn fat... trust me, eat up becausev with the gear and your metabolism you should be fine anyway. and no, do not work one day on one day off. if you absolutely MUST go to the gym... at least give yourself 3 days rest for each muscle group. i see great results working them only once a week.

    ok man i will do 3 days rest... i been doing my back eod and have had great success.. same with chest.. but i will mos definately take your advice and see how it go's thanks again.. much appreciated

    Just remember...You do not grow IN the gym, you grow while you are resting and eating OUTSIDE of the gym. Check out some of the training methods in the training sticky. HIT training would be your best bet for putting on gains and your experience level. I am using Iron man's HIT training and it works well. It is only 3 days per week, but you end up hitting each muscle twice in an eight day period. I got up to 257lbs doing this routine. I recommend it. And as far as getting fat, just eat clean foods, but still high in claories just like the bulking sticky and I have suggested and fat gain will be kept to a bare minimum.

    its not 3 days off of the gym. its 3 days of rest per body part.

    ex:chest on monday.......wait at least untill friday to work chest again

    that still doesnt explain how you workout 8 days out of a 7 day week...despite working out twice in one day
