Anyone know a solid routine for bulking that works only one muscle groups a day one time per week? Thanks
this is what ive been using for awhile, with a little variety once inawhile to mix things up. works well and gives me the weekend off. any questions let me know
monday - chest,abs
tuesday - back
wednesday - shoulders, traps, abs
thursday - quad, ham, calves
friday - bi,tri,forearms, abs
sat&sun - off
Wow, that'd be way overtraining for me. Must have some badass genetics.

i agree last 2 posts...
that is actually very similar to the current workout I am doing but i may give it a try in order to maybe shock the muscles to get some more growth. Thanks for the input
thats my same workout without all the ab work and i just picked up wed last week i also jog for 15 min before i start the workout im trying to trim away some excess fat around the waist
yeah everything i read tells me im overtraining, but i dont know i still feel great every monday morning in the gym, when the time comes when my schedule becomes more demanding i may change it upOriginally Posted by crash187ct
Are you doing squats on legsdays and deads on back days? Because after these two lifts there is no way I'm in the gym the next day.

i just did Swolecats leg workout on thurs and didnt want to go in the next day but did anyway no deads for me should get some in though
i usually have my workouts split up so each back day ill alternate hyperextensions or deadlifts, and each leg day ill alternate leg press and squatOriginally Posted by IBdmfkr
i try and work it out so that squats and deads never fall into the same week nevermind the same day
i culdnt imagine doing them on the same day!
I do a very similar workout:
Mon - Chest/triceps/abs
Tues - Back/Biceps
Weds - off
Thurs - Shoulders/traps/abs/obliques
Friday - Quads,hams, calves
Sat - off
Sun - off
I like that routine better, lets your CNS recover mid-week. Something that is very overlooked by many lifters.

yeah when my schedule is busy, or im comming off an injury/break, i combine chest/tri's & back/bi's. my problem is i LOVE to blast my arms at full strength although the extra work at the end of a chest/back workout really fatigues the shit out of my arms anyway, theres something about having heavy bb curl being my first exercise on arms day that i dont want to replaceOriginally Posted by HUNTER1
here is a regiment i used several a few times. its very effective for me when using slin (since its 6x a week) and i realy do enjoy it but.. i wouldnt train in this manner for more than 4-6 weeks due to the stress on the joints/connective tissue... ur bound to have an injury so here it is
