i believe your goal is to consume something that will be slow digesting...correct? the whey isn't the best choice for this. if you have scheduling issues or something and absolutely can't eat a whole food meal, casein (with your pb) would be a better pick, but still not the best. whole food would do you better. hence, cottage cheese.
i eat natural peanut butter and cottage cheese...
It would be better to get some Casianate eggwhites (dont know if it is spelled like this in english) to replace your whey before bed. Whey is fast absorbing. You could also add a little bit of milk (which is casianate) to help slow down the absorbing of the whey. But i personally try to stay away from milk as much as possible
I also take a few spoons of peanut butter to help slow the absorption in combination with normall eggwhites.
