    Expired Novolog

Can I still use Novolog FlexPen if it expired in 11/2004. The diabetic that gave it to me said it would be fine. Actually he said would you take an expired Vicoden, same thing, he says? What do you think? He didnt chage me for it so he really had nothing to gain from it.

The only thing I can think of is that it maybe would be degraded a bit..
I dont think u should worry about that its gone bad and u get an infection from it or something, But still 11/2004 is long time ago..

U can send it to me I would be happy to try it out for ya..

Personally I would bin it. It's expired almost a year and a half ago... plus it is Insulin - something I would not play around with in that respect.
