    Exclamation HGH Questions

    Hello everyone.

First overall, I did read the guide by RedBaron (good work, buddy!). But the problem for me with the guide was that it wasn't specific enough for my case.

    So first to my person:

I'm 17, not done growing, a basketballplayer, hoping to get a scholarship to play D1 after i'm done with school.

The thing is now, I was thinking about taking HGH, 1st overall as a "growth spurter" (possible???) and 2nd as a body fat decreaser and muscle increaser.

    So my questions now are:

Do you think HGH is useful for me?
How are my chances to get "busted", since it is a natural hormone?
Do you think I would grow? and if yes how (faster, more etc.)?
where could i find a good cycle for my specific case?
what should the dosage be to prevent against side effects?
does the cleanse help to "clean" me from HGH?
and one fun question: Who are the "80%" of professional athletes that used HGH? Any famous basketball players?

Those are all the questions I can think of right now.
    Thanks for your time...

Little buddy. As much as you do NOT want to hear this. Dont do it. your too young man.
On the flip side. Go to your doc with the same questions and see what he has to say. At 17, I doubt he will give GH though.
As far as spurting your growth.. At your age, yes it will. but with you being un-educated about it, taking too much, ect, could REALLY mess your body up.

Even though there has been reports about fat loss from HGH use, I still wouldn't use GH as a main drug for fat loss purposes as I think there are cheaper ways to loose fat. As for overall HGH use, as "got test" said, you are too young, probably way too young for those kind of drugs. You want to make sure your growth plates are fully fused before you start playing with drugs as such and at 17 I can tell you that your plates are far from fully fused.

So, no, I don't think GH is a good idea for you. But I will answer your questions anyway. I don't think they have come up with a test that shows excess HGH, so the chances of you getting caught using it are pretty slim unless they personally see you using it. As for growth, if you do grow you will grow all over, but I doubt you will get much taller as I'm assuming that's what you are after being a basketballer. Growth speed? Hard to tell buddy, everyone is different, and GH won't really bring major growth gains IMO, I believe that starts happening when you start adding AAS, insulin etc. We don't really have cycles "to grow taller". Genereally, people use GH for bodybuilding purposes as well as fat loss purposes too. So we don't really have a "grow taller" cycle. I think you should attend the sports forums, there is a basketball forum there, ask around and see if you can get some info there. Doses all depend on what you want to achive, lower doses are generally good for fat loss purposes and higher doses for muscle mass. Side effects are different, it depends on the person. I don't think you will need any kind of cleanse as there are no tests for HGH so far (someone please correct me if I am wrong, my knowledge may not be up to date when it comes to HGH testing). When it comes to athletes using HGH, I would say it is more the football players, and the weights liftters etc that use those kind of drugs. I can't see a basketballer benefiting much from it, and I actually don't know of any basketballers either that have used HGH.

If I was you, I would lay of the GH, I really don't think its the right kind of drug for you.

    Welcome.

    YEAH FINALLY!!!

I believe LeBron (he was 6'8'' already when he was 14) did it too. But i don't know about Yao.

My doc is a good friend of my family, and i asked him, and he said well he would have to check if my growth plates are still open and not and then he would have to check the name of the supplement to see if he would agree. So what would you suggest for a supplement? Isn't somatropin the best choice? I really need help here guys =(

Well Gear, I guess that you might be right, but as I said my doc wanted to "check" about the growth plates, too. Otherwise what I wanted to say I'm 17 already and th problem is I have two more years of school and if my body doesn't match up with my game, then I ill have really huge problems getting the scholarship.

    So any other opinions?

I see what you are saying, and I can tell you now that i am 90% confident that your growth plates would not be fused at 17. But get it checked as you never know, I am no doc. I just don't think the gains would be worth the money bro. And to get the sort of gains you are after I believe you would have to use GH for an exteneded period of time. HGH won't excatly make you shoot better.

Being a basketballer, you would need different kind of gains to what a bodybuilder would want. You want height, right? I believe gains like that come after many years of GH use, but even then I can't see you getting any taller.

I know when young kids get GH precribed, they use it for many years, and to them the difference in height may be an inch or so. This is after many years of GH use starting from a young age. Trust me bro, I don't think you will benefit from HGH and don't forget you are 17.

Why does everyone see a great athlete or simply put, someone better than them in one aspect of life or another and immediately claim "he's on something or he used this or that"....LeBron is 1 in a Billion if that, ......He's FREAK!...it happens, accept it.....and where did LeBron get money for GH? he was poor.....what, some dood showed up at his door and said, "you're a great player, here's some GH, you'll be TALL"......

Oh and.....at 17, don't take anything you need a script for unless your doc gives you it.

Infact, maybe I'm wrong, but don't you have to be 18 to post here?

I'm not hating or anything...but i just said that it because of the fact that it is a 1 in a billion thing it seems unlikely. On the other hand how can you tell that they are that much better than me?

But anyway, I was just talking about the possibility.
