    EAT

Its tough to critique your body now as your still starting out.
Best advice is just to get on a good high calorie bulking diet, and start lifting using heavy compound movements to put on some mass. I applaud you for posting your pic for advice, stick with everything and you will see great results. Keep us updated. goodluck

I know im not the best person to critique the diet, youll get ALOT of replies in teh diet forum section. RIght off the bat though, i would try and limit the supplementation a bit, try and get some more calorie rich foods in place of the shakes is at all possible.

    Try this :

1 1 cup of brown rice, 1 1/2cup oatmeal, 2 tablespoon flax oil

    2 1 chicken breast, 2 sweet potatoes

    3 1 cup of brown rice, 1 1/2cup oatmeal

    4 2 tablespoon flax oil, 1 1/2cup oatmeal

    5 40g whey, 1 cup oatmeal

    ( ) TRAIN

    6 PWO 50g whey 100g dextrose

7 PPWO - 2 chicken breasts, 1 cup brown rice
-1 hour following PWO (notice the times..but again this is just letting you know timing between meals and not the exact time since you have a different schedule.

8 1 cup cottage cheese, 2 tablespoon flax oil

This is 4604 calories right now.

I would try this meal plan. Sorry, my mistake I meant to post this once for you but instead I posted the wrong one which was the 1st one.

    1 (4:30PM): 10 egg whites, 1 1/2cup oatmeal, 1 table spoon of flax oil

    2 (07:30PM) 1 chicken breast, 2 sweet potatoes,

3 (09:30PM) 1 cup of brown rice, 12 egg whites,

4 (11:30PM) 1 Can of Tuna, 2 table spoon of Mayo (regular), 1 handful of Unsalted peanuts-dry roasted

    5 (01:30AM) 40g whey, 1 cup oatmeal

    (2:15AM) TRAIN

    6 (3:30AM) PWO 50g whey 100g dextrose

7 (4:30AM) PPWO 2 chicken breasts, 1 cup brown rice
-1 hour following PWO (notice the times but again this is just letting you know timing between meals and not the exact time since you have a different schedule.

8 (7:00AM) 1 cup cottage cheese, 2 tablespoon flax oil

Total Calories: 3964 calories right now.

(Subtract 458 calories burned from 1 hour of workout)

    = 3506 Calories

    (A rough Estimate)
    Carbs: 456g
    Protein: 340g
    Fat: 90g

Dont mind the timings. Go according to your time schedule.

I would try the 2nd meal plan I give you for about 6 weeks and see how it works for you. Also hit up the diet forum and do some more research. I'm pretty sure this meal plan would give you good results. Give it a shot. You got alot to gain and nothing to lose.

  15. #15
You are more built than I was when I started, I'm 5'9 210lbs 7yrs later. Keep at it. 3 things to stick by.

    1. Learn everything there is to know about diet

    2. Don't overtrain

    3. Start every week with Legs.

N large is good but try and do less shakes and more whole food. Using this method and a routine based on heavy compound lifts (WBB1) I was able to put 20 pounds on naturally in 6 months and I started very close to your stats.

Please do not use this diet. I dont mean to flame but this diet is pretty awful IMO. That diet does not contain 247g protein either, maybe 200. Why would you have him eating meals that are purely carbs or a mix of just carbs and fat? Protein should be included in every meal, yet you list three without it.
My suggestion is post your diet in the diet forum where you will get more detailed and more educated responses.

I know its awfull lol. I posted it by mistake. This was an old unedited one. Scroll up, I mentioned that he should use the 2nd one instead because the 2nd diet post I made I use as well and it works pretty good for me. I know everyone is different and they realize whats good for them through trial and error but the 2nd meal plan post was the one I was trying to post up for him, to give him a base to start off from .

btw: I dont know why the protein didnt add up right as you claim. cuz I did a calorie count using the calorie king website.

Ahhh yes, second diet is much better my man. Well I never used a calorise calculator but I know must of the stuff by heart. Plus even with the macronutrient breakdown you provided the calories didnt add up to the total cals you listed. I try no to use calculators like that.
    Simple rule is this:
    1g protein = 4cals
    1g carbs = 4cals
    1g fat = 9cals

Now you dont need those damn online things lol.

Dood, I seriously applaud you also for posting your pics up when you're not feeling you look to good. But honestly bro, you look better than I did when I started. I was that skinny with LESS muscle, then I started getting a gut. I went from 6'3" 145 lbs to 195 lbs where I'm at now. Took about 5 years and a lot of work and only NOW am I starting my first cycle. I feel with the right diet and work out rigime you could get results much faster. Why? Cause you're doing the one thing I DIDN'T do off the bat, RESEARCH! You came here and started asking around and posting pics et. Good for you bro. Determination and knowledge will get you results faster than you think.

hey bro, let me tell you something... I'm 18 years old right now - I've meddled with steroids a couple times but no serious cycles. I started working out at 16 years old at the end of my sophomore year. I was 6'2" 145lbs. I also had over 16% bodyfat at least. I was skinny and fat at the same time! I got tired of being made fun of for being so scrawny and I really wanted to play football - so I started working out 4 hours/day hard. 2hrs before school, 2hrs after, add to that football conditioning. I initially gained about 15lbs because my body was shocked having never worked out before. I got up to about 160-165lbs in about 3 months. The problem was I wasn't eating. My coach told me to "Eat like a horse and shit like a bird". So I did. for the whole summer I ate all-u-can eat pizza @ CiCis twice a day for 2 hours straight, had about 6 protein shakes a day, and at least 2-3 additional meals Equalling upwards of 9-11 thousand calories/day. I also set my alarm clock to wake up in the middle of the night to eat 2 peanut butter, jelly, and honey sandwiches.

From the Spring on Sophomore Year to the Fall of Juinior Year, I went from 145lbs to 215lbs - and mostly muscle was gained. My bodyfat increased by maybe 5%. I then began training smarter-not harder and cut out a lot of fat in my diet. I went from 215-245lbs in the next 2 months.

I gained a total of 100lbs in 7 months by eating like crazy and lifting really freaking hard. I kept my bodyfat somewjhat low by football training (plyometrics, jumprope, running, 7 on 7, off-season).

Now I'm 18 and I'm 6'2" 242lbs @ about 8% bodyfat. My first competition is in about a month. After gaining all that weight, my task was then to shape it the way I want it and then lose the excess bodyfat, so for the last year that's all I have been doing.

SUMMARY= Work Hard and EAT LOTS AND LOTS OF FOOD! Once you get to the size you want, start cutting the fat off.

just noticed this. so you gained 100 pounds in 7 months, or 14 pounds a month or @ 3.5 pounds a week. going from a skinny fat 145 with 16% bf to 242 with 8% bf. so actually you gained more like 120 pounds in 7 months, maybe even more. lets say 120 pounds in 7 months, or 17 pounds a month or 4 plus pounds of only muscle a week.

this is complete . sorry, not flaming you at all or trying to start an issue -not my goal here. the numbers speak for themselves, complete bs. there is no way what you claimed happened unless you are testing out a myostatin inhibitor because the human body would NEVER allow for such a change, especially in the time table you say, even with aas.
