Thread: recovery time 8wk cycle

    recovery time 8wk cycle

What time difference would the recovery time be for an 8 week cycle of Test E @ 500mg/wk vs. a 12 week cycle of the same? I'm thinking of starting to run short 8 week cycles and cruise with test between. But im not sure if it would be better to hit the PCT or to just bridge with test. I want to start my next cycle Mid May so I'll be on during summer. Would PCT even be incorportated if cruising between cycles with test at like 200mg/wk? I want to bridge with the test to keep gains while I try to diet and burn some excess BF before I start my cycle for the summer. Or I could just stay on I guess, but I def. want to be on a cutter during the summer. I fvcked my timing up with this cycle. I wanted to start earlier in the year and have it timed for a summer cycle but that didn't happen. SO...do I Recover, bridge, or stay on? Any ideas, suggestions? I've ran up to 16 wk cycles but the gains seem to stop around 10-12 weeks (reason i want to start doing short 8 wk cycles)

    Thanks

Umm... So you just went from talking about an 8wk cycle to a "I'm never gonna come off" cycle? You will not recover with 200mg/wk in your system. Run PCT unless you want to shoot Test for the rest of your life.

Yes, you read it correct. I can't decide if I want to cut it at 8 wks and recover then begin again once recovered or if I want to just keep running the cycle and throw in some other compounds or if I want to just come off at 8 wks and run a low dose of test to keep gains until next cycle. I should do what I planned to do and cut it at 8 weeks, recover, then hit it again but I just don't want to come off nor do I want to lose gains while trying to cut some BF before the next cycle. Wait...that's the same thing I said in the first post.

So recover time.. 8wks vs. 12wks. How much less time would it take to recover?

It really depends on compounds bro, sorry to not understand your first post fully, didn't know if you realized that bridging with test was not a good idea etc.. I see you do have an understanding of this.

Ex. Prop/Tren cycle would work great 8wks
TestE, Deca cycle would work much better 12wks etc...

Both should be easy to recover and keep most of the gains depending on Diet/Training intensity + technique. Start reducing calories after PCT is finished and you've had BW showing you're fully recovered, Really though you should just run a lean bulk and keep calories clean so you don't have much fat/water to lose anyhow. i stay at most 10-12% even when bulking with 5-6K calories/day.

NP bro. Yeah I know what's up, i've done my fair share. I'm just fighting the urge to become a lifer. I came very close last year. I just friggin hate being off, that's why I'm trying this short cycle/short recovery blitz's. I know some pro's who swear by doing short cycle/short recover blitz's at high doses but they run low doses of test between (which IMO is basically a lifer sooner or later). I just wanted to get some different opinions. I used to run long cycles but I noticed that the gains seem to halt/slow down at like 12wks unless I switched compounds.
