Ok, so the concensus seems to be that test is an integral part of any cycle. Is the reasoning behind this mostly to do with keeping Mr Happy happy, or are there other compelling reasons? Take test with eq for instance - would the long period of time before you see any reasonable results from the eq (8 weeks) on a cutting cycle be 2 months during which you'd run a great risk of losing LBM if you didn't run test? Because if the only big reason to use test on a cycle like this is to keep Long Dong Silver in tenhut, I think I could do without it, since I've recently sworn off women altogether. They are filthy creatures, and not to be trusted farther than a child can throw them. Yes, I'm bitter.
Now, I posit that a 600mg dose of eq should enable retention of lean mass to a degree that is acceptable to the majority of people during a normal cutting phase, and since noticeable LBM gains on calorie restriction are virtually impossible, an additional 500mg of test would just be unnecessary. Sure, it might help a bit with strength in the gym, but in the end, will the cutting really be that much more effective with the test added?
Nobody would be happier than me if my ideas are totally annihilated by you all, of course. That will just mean that my cytting cycle will be more effective.
