    Growth Plates!! Lets be specific

Ok many times we have warned young people from doing gear on this forum and one of the many concerns is closing of growth plates.....what exactly will stop?
    1-Height growth?
    2-Bone density growth?
    3-Bone length?
    4-Natural Muscle growth?
    5-body organs development?

What exactly is gonna stop! If someone does juice when they are very young, will they never be able to build muscle naturally unless its on juice? Will their bones stay prematurely smaller?

height and bone length will be the first and maybe only to get affected. It is not the steroids that causes this, it is the estrogen, unstabile estrogen levels.
So any aromatizing aas (can convert to estrogen), can cause this to young people who haven`t developed fully yet

They may not reach a hieght that they would of potentially if they didn't use AAS, it will stunt there growth.

    2-Bone density growth? Not sure

Thats my understanding on the subject...

....And yes....Its increased estrogen that does it also I believe.

I know where this is heading now....

I thought some one will say....."So if I use an AI and reduce elevated estrogen, will it stop growth plates being closed".....?

    I really, have no idea...

My guess is that it might help a bit but I think androgens also play a role directly.. Just read a study where letro was used to make pubertal boys grow taller.. They started letro therapy before the plates had fused and managed to give the boys some more time to grow lngth.. I think the average was 14 cm.. (this was with short boys though)

this is kinda a digression, but what does this mean for young girls taking birth control pills. Aren't these pills estrogen based, and if so, would it limit growth?

good info guys, i wasnt trying to find out ways of preventing it, i was just trying to find out if someone who did a cycle when they were very young will be unable to make any more muscle gains unless he used AAS again! Basically were his natural muscle gains halted permanently?
I know every person has a different response to different steroids but i swear i know a guy who's bones grew thicker and bigger from using AAS! He started in his late 20's maybe 28 and then after doing a bout 4 cycles even his bones were bigger! his wrists and arm bones has a different density! He could have used HGH but still i didnt think it was that effective in increasing quality bone thickness in such a short time!

roids do make ur bones thicker (in general) BUT that is not related to the closure of the epiphysis.. IMO this souinds like a case of a young person looking for a reason to start a cycle way too young.. if this is the case , dont do it.. in the long run u will be better off most likely..

I disagree, you can't see your bones thicker after taking roids. So you're saying your whole bone structure thickened up after a cycle, I think not.

I think maybe ony GH can do that in excess dosages.

AAS and its link to bone density probably just comes from the training linked to AAS use, weight lifting leads to spiked calcitonin and low calcitriol plasma levels leading to decreased osteoclast activity and increased Ca++ absorption (depending on age)

i'd guess maybe 10% of teenagers might have something affected with their growth.
