    please critique my diet

    i want to attempt a "clean" bulk, i was wondering if i needed more carbs in my diet plan...



    here is a basic idea of what i eat:

    first thing waking up:whey shake

    meal one: 1 whole egg, 7 whites, 1/2 cup oats

    meal2: grilled chicken 1/2 cup oats

    meal 3: grilled chicken with flax

    pre-work out no-explode (27 carbs)....TRAIN

    meal 4: pwo whey with 1/2 cup dex

    meal 5: grilled chicken 1/2 cup brown rice

    meal 6: 1 can tuna with 1 tbls full fat mayo

    meal 7(before bed): 1 cup cottage cheese with 2 tbls natty pb


    i throw in some lean steak to change up the chicken, and salmon to switch up the tuna...pickles for snack inbetween meals. sometimes a couple cottage cheese pro/fat meals instead of tuna with mayo....am i eating too light?

    it is impossible to critique a diet without stats man... age, height, weight, experience, supps... we love to help, but we don't like to work

    sorry brotha........24 yrs old, 5'11 180, 3 years serious lifting...supps include:
    hmb
    multi
    no-explode
    flax
    dextrose
    (waiting for phera plex to arrive in mail)....

    meal2: grilled chicken 1/2 cup oats don't be afraid to eat! make it a whole cup of oats

    meal 3: grilled chicken with flax depending on amounts this should be fine

    pre-work out no-explode (27 carbs)....TRAIN

    meal 4: pwo whey with 1/2 cup dex as long as you keep it a protein:carb 1:2 ratio

    meal 5: grilled chicken 1/2 cup brown rice make it a whole cup of brown rice

    meal 6: 1 can tuna with 1 tbls full fat mayo this is fine

    meal 7(before bed): 1 cup cottage cheese with 2 tbls natty pb i like this choice as well.

    maybe show your meal times because i don't know how long of a break you are taking between eating but it should be around 2 hours. my comments on amounts are in bold based on your body weight, height, and age. i noticed you said you were going to take phera-plex, if you indeed do so, do not be afraid to eat... seeing as though i gained mass and strength all while not gaining a visual ounce of fat in a surplus of calories in the ballpark of 600+.

    Switch meal # 2 and # 3...in other words, have the pro/fat meal as your second meal and have the pro/carb meal 45 minutes before your workout...you wanna get those carbs in close to the workout.

    Like nova said...do not be afraid to eat, you are weighing only 180 pounds...eat up and if you feel that you are gaining some unwanted weight than you can adjust the amount of foods. Overall,it is a good diet though.

    My meals are spread 2-3 hours apart. so I am eating too light is what your saying novastep? step it up during phera plex..(of course all the needed supps. I will be taking on PP- milk thistle, hawthorne berry, flush-free niacin)

    yeah it looks a little light for natural and you should DEFINATELY up the amounts significantly while on Pheraplex. (mostly) eating and sleeping will make you grow, so while on Phera-plex do both often. oh yeah...
    don't forget to bust your ass in the gym

    what are good foods to up the calories without adding too many carbs?
