SD Bloodwork

I am 2 weeks into a 4 week SD cycle. I am going to the doc today to get bloodwork done.

Any thoughts on what to tell the doc? What tests to ask for?

Liver enzyme of anything that can detect how your live is responding to SD.

I have eard pertty bad things about SD and liver and i really hope that phera plex is not the same cause i got 4 bottles of it at home.

you can tell him, and if he doesn't know tell him it's related to athletic performance enhancing. and to test for anything related to lipid profiles, and liver values...

He had not heard of it before. I ended up telling him that it was an OTC supplement that was supposed to boost testosterone levels. I told him that I had tried it because I had a hot wife and no sex drive. I went on to tell him that I had since read that it was harsh on the liver and known to screw with lipids.

He told me to stop taking it and said that he would prefer I took "prescription testosterone". He ordered bloodwork to check liver, testosterone, thyroid & cholesterol. I go back on Friday to get results & "prescription testosterone".

Anyone know what he might be referring to when he says "prescription testosterone"?

Your levels are most likely going to be meesed up but read the sticky at the top of this forum and there are some things mentioned that can help you recover.

This is why these supplements are geting banned. Cause people are taking them and then saying, "I thought it was test boostying supp." If you didn't know it was a steroid before you started taking, then you jumped into something you are not quite ready for. SD is a STEROID and you should have told you doc you were taking steroids.

The description of your product as "anabolic" on your product label and website, together with the other claims quoted above, establish that your product is intended to affect the structure or function of the body by building muscle, increasing strength, and inducing weight gain. Based on these claims, FDA considers Anabolic Xtreme Superdrol to be a drug.

Moreover, your product is also a new drug under Section 201(p) of the Act [21 USC 321(p)] because this product is not generally recognized as safe and effective for the uses claimed in its labeling. Under Section 505(a) of the Act [21 USC 355(a)], a new drug may not be introduced or delivered for introduction into interstate commerce unless an FDA-approved new drug application (NDA) is in effect for it. Because your product is not the subject of an approved NDA, it may not be marketed in the United States and its continued distribution violates Section 505(a) of the Act. Section 301(d) of the Act [21 USC 331(d)] prohibits the introduction or delivery for introduction into interstate commerce of any article in violation of Section 505.

Thanks man. In 17 days I have gained 18 pounds. I am sure some of that is water weight, and I know some of that is fat - I have been eating like a maniac and until this week, I have not been doing much cardio. However, I noticed the increased strength almost immediately. Overall, I have been very impressed with the results.

I respect your opinion, but could you elaborate on why you think taking prescription test for a few weeks would lead to a life of steroids.

I tried to get the results over the phone today, but after holding for the nurse for 20 minutes I gave up. I go back on Friday and Ill get the results then. I will post everything as soon as I get back from doctors office.

Want to do my homework on this and be ready to steer him in the right direction when I go back.

My point is this is how these Drugs got a bad rap. Kids etc... Taking them, getting all ****ed up and saying to their Doc I thought it was a test boostin sup. You knew it wasn't. so why did you lie to your doc?

He will proably prescribe you "Androgel" for low test figures. That is what is perscribed to old guys when their nuts start shutting down. Its enough to help your body from consuming itself, but not good to build muscle with.

Although this thread is ancient..... Isnt a Testosterone reading at 34 to 909 a rather extreme jump? Any feedback on that?
