    Need some advice on what to start out with

    Ok, I have researched and read till I've gone cross-eyed, now I think its time to get some advice...

    Im 18, 5'8", 225lbs, about 20% bf, Looking mostly to cut down and gain strength. I know Im young, but I havent gotten any taller in 2 years and Ive been lifting heavy for 4 years natural for football so maybe I have reached my genetic potential?

    In my reading everyone seems to say test for your first cycle, sometimes stacked with something else. Several buddies of mine have recently started, just going with one at a time of either sustanon, deca, or EQ. They have all seen some results, esp. with just deca. Which of course means thats all they can think of to tell me to start with. This leads me to 3 questions.

    1) What should I start with to help my diet (which I understand is key) with cutting while hopefully gaining some strength? (Im not concerned with getting much bigger yet)

    2) What are your opinions on my buddys deca-only cycles?
    (Hopefully I can help them out some to, as information floating around my town is useless at best)

    3) Is it worth the time and risks to track down a reliable source on the internet or should I just go to the local guy?
    (everything my buddys have gotten from him is $130 for 10cc, and money is an issue)

    too young....train and eat proper til youre at least 25

    Your bodyfat is way to HIGH!

    Do you know how to lower it? Steroids maybe???? WRONG!

    Steroids build muscle not burn fat.

    With your bf % you can't even see muscle, so a cycle in your current condition would just be a waste of $, time , and health.

    Cardio/Diet is where it's at. Thats how you burn fat and get ripped.
    Check out the workout forum and diet forum, and learn as much as your brain will handle.

    AND, as far as your friend on a deca only cycle. He's making a big mistake and is in for a bumpy ride!!!!!!!

    Well if u have done alot of research then u know how this thread is gonna go.....

    Too young for gear.... and yes your bodyfat is too high.... try he diet forum.... U need a good diet and solid training habits not aas......

    Thanks for the help guys. Im well aware steroids are not for burning fat, looking mainly at the strength and keeping muscle on while dieting aspects. Really the only reason for it would be to help the extra foot I need to throw to go to state for shotput, but looks like Ill be staying natural for quite awhile longer. Kinda what I expected to hear but I just had to hear it for myself I guess. thanks again

    You know you are 18, and you are researching (which i respect), and you know that it considered to be a young age to start. In other news, there is no such thing as hitting your genetic potential. I feel you are trying to use that as an excuse to use AS. So throw that idea out, especially if your diet sucks.

    I can't wait to see how bad your buddy gets flamed for using a deca only cycle. Search the message board for the term "deca dick", then you come back here and tell us if using a deca only cycle is a good idea. You asked decent questions for your first post, better than most. Keep reading....

    You shouldn't need aas just to go to state or even win it for that matter. Try finding a good technical coach first. Glad you decided to stay natural. Good move.

    It's wrong that so many "top" athletes juice making the others have to juice to stay competitive "in the game". I see it more acceptable for an athlete to juice , than someone just concerned with picking up chicks though.

    Bro just get your diet in CHECK and train like no other. I just turned 21 and I came here asking the same shit 3 years ago when I was 18. I got my diet in gear and my senior year I weighed 205 lbs, benched 335, squated 505 and ran a 4.49 forty yd dash time. Im sure there is alot more gains you can make natty before you turn to AS. I just now am. Good luck and train hard. Its going to be a hot summer!

    too fat man anabolics wont make you leaner plus your too young,train hard till your 20 then if your in good shape and look like a body builder(low bf and lots of muscle)then go for it.
    lots of cardio training and a very strict diet is needed also lay of the beer if thats the cause of the fat lol

    The fact there are so many other male members who have started way below 25, and have had no problems what so ever. Granted 18 is young, but 25 is crazy. I would love to take this opportunity to kick you in the balls.

    The Following is a good beginner cycle:

    wk 1-4 Dbol 25mg ED
    wk 1-12 Test E or C 500mg wk

    Don't do a Deca only cycle....................

    Did you read the ENTIRE thread????

    He decided to go natural given he wasn't near his genetic potential naturally or in the pyhisical condition to cycle at this moment.

    So thats a big no no to your cycle advice.
