Ok, I have researched and read till I've gone cross-eyed, now I think its time to get some advice...

In my reading everyone seems to say test for your first cycle, sometimes stacked with something else. Several buddies of mine have recently started, just going with one at a time of either sustanon, deca, or EQ. They have all seen some results, esp. with just deca. Which of course means thats all they can think of to tell me to start with. This leads me to 3 questions.
1) What should I start with to help my diet (which I understand is key) with cutting while hopefully gaining some strength? (Im not concerned with getting much bigger yet)
2) What are your opinions on my buddys deca-only cycles?
(Hopefully I can help them out some to, as information floating around my town is useless at best)
3) Is it worth the time and risks to track down a reliable source on the internet or should I just go to the local guy?
(everything my buddys have gotten from him is $130 for 10cc, and money is an issue)
