I will have to agree with you and say Barnett wins but i am not so sure by submission. Alexander is heavily experienced in that department due to his Sambo background, i think it will come down to Barnett getting Alexander down and GnP his way to a decision.

Only reason why I think it will be sub instead of GnP is because of Aleks's poor showing against Nastula and his ground game first Silva wasnt that great either.

Yeah, you got a point as Alexander looked a bit rusty or winded..not sure. To many factors but i still think Barnett will win.

Problem with barnett seems to be that he stalls fights and doesn't really make an effort! Sticking wiv alex even tho his nastula match was pretty poor!

Well he's not gonna play cro-cops game and stand within left high kick range. He's gonna wanna close the distance as fast as he can and try to take him to the ground. This is why Barnett was in the clinch so much.

agreed, my point was that alex's striking is better than barnetts, if it stays on the feet its alexs fight, if barnett gets him down and is on top, he can use his weight to GnP or sub...

I think aleks best chance is to come out on the offense straight from the start and go for the ko, if he lets barnett get into the fight i think he'll get taken on the ground and subbed
