Gamma Oryzanol works on the hypothalamus in the brain which, through its control of the pituitary gland governs a number of the body’s automatic functions, including temperature control, water balance and hormonal regulation. The hormones include the sex hormones -
testosterone in the male and estrogen in the female.

Reports prove that Gamma Oryzanol increases testosterone production, and increase lean body mass. Researchers have also observed that fatty tissue appears to decrease when Gamma Oryzanol is used as a supplement.

There have been experiments in which gamma oryzanol given to woman has brought about a significant reduction of the symptoms of menopause - without the need for extra hormones or medicines. Source - The Complete Home Encyclopedia of FOOD MIRACLES

Body-builders have tried gamma-oryzanol supplements to boost their performance, but clinical trials indicate that this is fruitless. In a 1997 study, male weight trainers who took gamma-oryzanol supplements (500 mg a day for nine weeks) failed to perform better than participants taking a placebo. Nor were levels of various hormones, including endorphins or testosterone (a male hormone), affected in any way.

    waste of time.............
