    Cheating While Cutting....

    Hey guys, I've been on a cutting routine for the last few week and I'm gonna continue it through May, then start a serious 8 month bulk...However, for the remainder of my cut I need to know if I can have a cheat day??? My training split is usually monday thru Friday or Monday thru saturday...So sunday is usually my day off...Is it ok to have a day where I'm not to strict about my carb intake or my fat intake???

    no one can tell you if you can have fun. we don't know your body. i think cheat meals are necessary especially towards the end of the cutting, but you have to determine how a cheat meal would affect your body.

    exactly...if I were to cheat it would have to be a very moderate size meal with relatively clean macros...judging by your avvy you may be able to get away with more

    it is personal, but I don't think a small cheat will kill you, prob keep you sane

    Yeah I agree with that, I think in my personal opinion for my body, first of all a cheat day wont kill me because of my metabolic rates, and secondly, when I am in training monday thru sat I am pretty strick on my intake and more specifically my timing of my intake...So I feel that one day a week isn't going to dimish 5 days of strictness, atleast I hope not...

    i my self have about 2 cheats a month right now, the leaner you are the less fall back you will have, and also just make sure your cheat is a high protein cheat

    yeah I agree with the high protein cheat...I wont like I ate some pizza tonight for dinner...Sundays will always be my cheat day because the caf is closed sundays and I have a limited grocery capability

    I believe in cheat meals, Well I only diet pre-contest. I do one cheat meals a week. here is my guidline. I do a 90/10 diet. with 10% cheat meals. here is the math, 6 meals per day time 7 day = 42 meals a week time 10% = 4.2 cheat meals or a 95/5 diet. choice is yours.

    No thats makes sense, interesting math on that, because I also do a 6 meals a day program, whether I am cutting or bulking...If I am cutting the ever other meal will be a complete meal, meaning meals 1,3, and 5 are meals that include some carbs veggies and protein. Meals 2,4, and 6 are just protein if I am cutting...If I am bulking however, every meal is atleast equal protein to carb ratio....
