HCG confusion!

My mate is just about to start taking hcg, there is so much contradictory information on so many sites I said I'd ask the guys in the know so here goes. The amps he's got are 1500iu, how would you suggest he splits the dosage and how regular should he inject because we've read anywhere from everyday to everyweek, any light you could shed would be gratefully received. Thanks guys.
Oh sorry he's currently using 400mg p/w of eq.

How is he using his HCG....as part of his PCT???....or to combat testicular atrophy during cycling???

He's using it in his pct with tamoxifen.
