    Bad Luck

    I drove a hour an a half to AC today to play some blackjack for the night. After only being there for an hour an a half, I went thru my entire bankroll, I was pissed. I only won about fifteen hands on three separate tables in that time period, I still can't believe it! Then I had to sit my sorry ass in car for another hour and half ride home, thinking about that sh!t. Perfectly good night, ruined.

    Seriously though, I really don't get gambling - if you're poor you can't afford to do it, and if you're rich why bother?

    The company I work for has a christmas party up in London every year and we all go up and hit the town the night before and last year I ended up going to a casino with some of the guys for a while, I have never been so bored in all my life!

    My bankroll for the night, which was 1k, this would be an average bankroll for any given night of gambling for me, and yes it's pure entertainment money. I was more pissed that I didn't hava an enjoyable night than losing the money.

    Agreed, I've been a little depressed lately and definitely had a losers mentality when it came to my betting last night. Depression and gambling don't mix well!

    a fools game? Gambling is always house advantage...but blackjack and poker are the games where the house has the least advantage.
