How many pounds should I drop per week?

I eat every two hours, every meal has protein, my protein intake is high and I like my diet.

I set up my diet so that I would drop two pounds per week. Is 2lbs a good number to shoot for?

Assuming my diet was right on, would 3lbs per week be too aggressive?

How many pounds do you lose per week while cutting?

I think you have to provide what exactly your eating and your current stats (height, weight body fat) in order for someone to correctly answer this.

based upon current stats and goals - I am looking at 2 a week. Diet and exercise program thoughtfully laid out can do this. Takes planning but can be done. Take the time to understand your body composition and food. DO NOT rely on supps to do the work for you - trust me I made this mistake for years

Read the stickys and really research whole foods and the macros. Seems overwhelming at first, but changing your body is a mental challenge as much as a physical one. Good luck!

I averaged 3.5 last time over 14 weeks but I was 20% bf. This time I'm gonna go more slowly. I think 2-3 is fine to preserve muscle if you have a belly to begin with. If you are under 15% I'd shoot for 1.5-2

depends on your caloric defecit. 500 a day for 7 days would be 1 pound a week just from diet. factor in exercise and you're going to raise that mark.
